SiSU 2019 has more than 15 thousand places in universities of São Paulo

Six Higher Education Institutions (IES) in the state of São Paulo will offer more than fifteen thousand places in the Unified Selection System, the SiSU 2019: 15,496 opportunities are available for beginning in the first semester in 43 cities. Registration begins on January 22 and ends at 11:59 pm on the 25th of the respective month. According to the schedule established by the Ministry of Education, the result of the regular call must be available on the 28th.



Among the IES in São Paulo, the largest number of places is concentrated in the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of São Paulo (IFSP), which has 5,160 opportunities in 31 locations. Campus headquarters, IFSP São Paulo maintains its leadership position in the offer of vacancies (800), followed by campuses located in Cubatão (240) and São João da Boa Vista (240).



In SiSU IFSP 2018, also valid for the first semester, the institution was among the ten most sought in Brazil, with 94,349 registrations. The information was released by the Ministry of Education (MEC) in the document with the consolidated data of the selection process.


The second largest offer is made by the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar), which has 2,893 places. Only four cities will receive new students through SiSU: São Carlos (1793 places), Sorocaba (620), Buri (240) and Araras (240).


The opportunities are available in the cities of São Paulo (1,904 jobs), Ribeirão Preto (357), São Carlos (224), Piracicaba (91) ), Pirassununga (78), Lorena (86) and Bauru (45).
